By accessing or using ResumeScan at resumescan.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

ResumeScan is a free, browser-based resume analysis tool. It scores resumes across multiple dimensions and provides actionable improvement suggestions. The Service is provided as-is and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

You retain full ownership of any resume, cover letter, or other content you input into ResumeScan. As described in our Privacy Policy, your content is processed exclusively in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

You agree not to:

• ›Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• ›Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
• ›Introduce malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• ›Misrepresent the source or nature of any content you input.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. ResumeScan does not guarantee that analysis results will lead to employment outcomes. Resume scores and feedback are algorithmically generated estimates and should not be relied upon as professional career advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResumeScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The ResumeScan name, logo, interface design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of ResumeScan and its contributors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ResumeScan operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
